Spreading Sunshine recently partnered with The Victory Project to spread love and kindness to children facing medical challenges. The Victory Project is an after school program for at-risk teenage boys. The project gives them a safe place to go after school for fun, tutoring, chores (yes, chores), dinner, Bible study and service projects.
One of our wonderful Sunshine Volunteers, Laura, organized two hands-on projects for these young men. They created coloring tins and tic-tac-toe game tins, which will be included in our future Sunshine Boxes. It was a delight seeing these young men work diligently and lovingly, wanting to make the tins perfect for the children receiving them. There is hope for the next generation y’all!
We are grateful to these young men for letting their Light SHINE and we hope to work with them in the future! Also, a big thank you to our donors who help make projects like this possible!
