Ashley’s connection to Spreading Sunshine is deeply personal. In 2024, her family was part of our Year of Sunshine program while walking through her daughter’s battle with a brain tumor. During that season, they experienced firsthand the encouragement and support that Spreading Sunshine brings to families in crisis. Inspired by that care, Ashley has spent this year giving back as a Care Partner volunteer, offering the same hope and compassion she received.
Professionally, Ashley is a Child Life Specialist at Cook Children’s, where she brings hope and comfort to children and families during some of their most challenging moments. She combines her professional expertise with her personal experience to make a lasting impact—both in her career and through her ongoing involvement with Spreading Sunshine.
