Your support makes all the difference for families like the Gillespies.
Meet Kyle and Mandy, parents of four wonderful kids. Their
youngest son, Walker, developed NEC (necrotizing enterocolitis)
— a life-threatening intestinal infection that can destroy parts
of the bowel. He also has gastroparesis, small kidneys with
hydronephrosis, mild to moderate permanent hearing loss,
swelling in his hands, feet, and face since birth, and a rare
genetic condition involving the ITPR1 gene that doctors believe
may be an atypical form of Gillespie syndrome.
Families like theirs receive personalized and practical care from a Spreading Sunshine Care Coordinator, monthly mailings, and emotional and spiritual support.
This year, we’re on a mission to raise $30,000 to help more families like the Gillespies. Your contribution will mean the world to us, helping provide essential support to those who need it most.
